Earls Court Two
2005
Hetchins reprises a 1948 show model in classic style with fully modern specs. It features hand-cut lugs and full silver-solder. Frame tubes are 531c. The size is 58 cm, angles are 73 degrees head, 72 degrees seat. The color scheme is black metallic with red metallic head tube, silver double-box lining, chromed embelishments.
Components include a 2005-series Campag Record group: carbon CT crank set, mid-length carbon rear mech, 10sp. block, Ergopower carbon levers, dual-pivot front brake and middle-pivot rear brake (Campag discontinued dual-pivots at the rear a few years ago because they thought we couldn't handle so much braking power), Record titanium seat pin, toe-clip-and-strap style Record (PD-02RE) pedals (I never liked clickies); Mavic Ksyrium SSC wheels; tires are Pariba gray slicks; ITM Millennium handlebar with gray cork tape. The weight is 9.6 kg.
