Earls Court Two
Preston, 2005

Hetchins reprises a 1948 show model in classic style with fully modern specs. It features lugs duplicating the 1948 show bike and full silver-solder. Frame tubes are 531c. The size is 58 cm, angles are 73 degrees head, 72 degrees seat. The color scheme is black metallic with red metallic head tube, silver double-box lining, chromed embelishments. The bike won first prize for best paint at the 2019 Concours Velo in Switzerland.

Components include a 2005-series Campag Record group: carbon CT crank set, mid-length carbon rear mech, 10sp. block, Ergopower carbon levers, black anodized skeleton brakes, toe-clip-and-strap style Record (PD-02RE) pedals (I never liked clickies) w/Campag straps; Gilles Berthoud Galibier saddle with titanium frame, Thomson Masterpiece pin; Mavic Ksyrium SSC wheels; tires Mavic Yksion Pro; Gilles Bertoud black leather tape. The weight is 9.6 kg.
