Six-Day
London, 1943

The Six-Day model was a racing machine; it featured a fluted seat tube to shorten the wheelbase. This one retains its original equipment, including the hubs and Chater Lea cranks and pedals. Also note the Sturmey Archer hub gear and GB brakes. This particular frame (sold in Sept. 1943) is of special interest for two reasons: it is one of the first known to have the bronze head tube badge and longer pointed Brilliant lugs.
