Tour des Trois 2013

Td3.13: The idea is to cross into three countries in one day on vintage cycles, motor cycles, and/or cars. Fortunately, there is a place where three countries meet--France, Germany, and Switzerland--just near Basel, and the cycling is fantastic there. The event takes place on the last Sunday of June, so this year it was the 24th. About 70 entrants were registered, most on vintage cycles (though a few newer bikes were also welcome). Some old-timers showed up: an NSU motorcycle, the Peugeot service vehicle, and the escort Bulli.

The tour comprised 120 kms in a circuit which started in Leymen, France, went up around Basel, crossed into Germany at Weil Am Rhein, and returned to Leymen.
