1962 Mtn. King

Mountain King
Tottenham, 1962

This 21-3/4 inch Mtn. King was built by Jack Denny in December 1962 but apparently not sold until 1967. It was a show bike for the York Rally, the debut of this model. It was displayed visible from the drive side only, hence the lack of a dt transfer on the off-side. Argos of Bristol restored it to yellow with black panels and black and gold lining. Subsequent Mtn. King's had the flat enamel head badge; this one features the older style Mazak badge.

The components are as follows: Campag NR crank set, pedals, mechs, and hubs; Weinmann center-pull brakes.
