This Experto Crede is listed in the ledgers as a type 6 (road racing geometry), first sold in December 1958. It was brazed by Bob Stratfull. The size is 23-1/2 inches. It was repainted in solid green enamel by Ed Litton about 2000.

The frame was modified and outfitted with more efficient and user-friendly componentry from the 1970s. The components are as follows: Cinelli stem and bar, with red leather-simulated bar tape; TA handlebar bottle cage with original TA paper tag (not shown); Campagnolo Record brake levers with blade covers and (fragile) Modolo ergo hoods, brakes, headset, downtube shifters with REG covers, triple crankset with bottom bracket, front derailleur, Rally (long cage) rear derailleur, high flange hubs and skewers, seat post, SR pedals (not shown); six speed cluster; Mavic 27x1.25-inch alloy rims with Continental Sport 1000 tires; Brooks Professional green-tinted saddle.
